Dryburgh Athletic Women are delighted to announce the signing of Klara Brady.
Klara joins our SWF Championship squad for the remainder of the 2022/23 season on loan from Montrose WFC.
The talented player joins with great experience for one so young, having spent 2 years in Hearts U19s performance squad and recently plying her trade in SWPL 2 with Montrose WFC.
Klara is no stranger to a Dryburgh Jersey having previously been in our Girls and Boys pathway.
Klara was part of our 2006s Boys squad who were the first Dryburgh side to win the East region Cup, also securing the treble that year too. She also been capped twice with Boys & Girls Clubs of Scotland U15s and U17s Vs BGC Wales.
Klara had this to say on joining our SWF Championship side “It’s good to get back to where it all started. I’m excited for this new challenge ahead and hopefully I’ll bring something new to the team.
The coaches and girls have been extremely welcoming and I’m looking forward to my first game on Sunday.”
Dryburgh Athletic head Coach Owen MacKenzie “Its great to get Klara in, we know a fair bit about her as she previously played in the youth ranks at Dryburgh. She is a good young player with a great attitude and a desire to improve and further develop herself. Thanks to Montrose WFC for their help arranging this deal.”
Klara will be sponsored by Barry Davies Ames Taper for the remainder of the season.
