We are delighted to announce that defender Sophie Aitken has extended her contract and re-signed for the 2022/23 SWF Championship season ahead.
With transfer speculation surrounding the talented Centre Back all summer the club are delighted that Sophie has signed up for another year.
Sophie made 27 appearances and scored 2 goals last season, whilst also picking up Players Player and Player of the year awards for 2021/22.
Sophie had this to say “Really looking forward to the season coming up in a new league and I’m excited to come up against teams we haven’t played before. We will be looking to retain the cup this year and with a mixed squad of a lot of young players and experienced players, I think we have the capabilities of doing this”
