Huge congratulations to Dryburgh Athletic Girls & Women’s players Megan Brown, Beth Collins and Chloe Heary who have all been selected to join the latest SFA East Region Performance Squads.
Megan and Beth will join up with the U16s squad, while Chloe will join the U14s set up.
The regional performance squad programme will commence in Feb 2022 until Nov later that year and serves as a stepping stone to National training camps and a chance of selection for the Scottish National Youth squads. These extra sessions will also compliment the girls club training and games.
The girls join Dryburgh girls Katie Luke, who has already been selected for the U12s regional squad. This is a fantastic achievement for the girls and the club and we wish them the very best.
Whilst these 4 Dryburgh girls have been successful in their selection after the trial process. The club would like to take time to congratulate our other players who took part in the trial process. Whilst there might be disappointment, we hope they enjoyed the experience and continue to work hard and aim high.
