Huge thanks to everyone who supported our Cash for Kids Tayside & Fife Club Fundraiser Fun night last night at the park.
Our players and their families enjoyed a visit from the our local Community Police Scotland Tayside Officers Stuart and Tammy who took time to chat with the kids and show them the inside of their Police van.
Ex Dundee Utd and Montrose SWPL midfielder Tammy was particularly interested in our Principle Club Partner Your Ford Centre “Boot2Boot Challenge” where anyone could try and chip a football into the boot of a Dundee Ford Centre car. Our kids along with Tammy had a ball taking part in the challenge.
Our players also enjoyed a “Beat the Goalie” contest with many of our Dryburgh Goalkeepers involved. Lots of great saves and brilliant goals!
“Soak the Coaches” went down extremely well with many a Dryburgh coach heading home “drookit” and the kids with huge smiles on their faces.
Massive thanks to all our Community Cafe team for all their hard work as they completely sold out their sweet bags/home baking/Drinks/Snacks and treats.
One final surprise for the kids was a visit from the local Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
The kids were shown the inside of a fire engine and many pictures taken.
You can still donate to our Cash For Kids Sports Challenge link -
