Dundee United Community Trust and Dryburgh Athletic Community Club have agreed a deal which now allows a number of Dryburgh’s boys and girls grassroots teams to utilise the state of the art playing pitch at New Beechwood Park as their training facility.
An integral part of this new partnership will see Dryburgh now call New Beechwood Park “Home” for both their Women’s Championship and Women’s Development teams to play homes games for the 2024/25 season.
John Beatt Chairman of Dryburgh Athletic CC comments;
"This facility partnership agreement with Dundee United Community Trust will allow us to provide a quality venue for our grassroots teams to train moving forward.
The overall benefit to Dryburgh Athletic CC as a club is significant, allowing us to be in the heart of our own community raising the awareness of football at all levels benefiting the whole community.
The deal also provides a fantastic home venue for our Women’s sides to further develop and push onwards in Scottish Women’s football.
Thanks to Dryburgh’s Craig Fyall for his work to secure this deal and to Paul and the team at Dundee United, who have been fantastic to work alongside.
We look forward to working closely with them in the next few years”.
