On Sunday 11th of August Dryburgh Athletic Community Club 2014s Boys are taking part in the Dundee Kiltwalk to raise funds to purchase a defibrillator.
A cause very close to the team when earlier this year one of the players parents collapsed having a cardiac arrest on the pitch whilst playing football.
His life was saved by a defibrillator on hand.
We have been given permission to share Steven’s story to raise awareness on the importance of having a defibrillator nearby and accessible to those in need.
Steven is on the mend and has recently enjoyed a trip to Germany with his son, Dryburgh 2014s player William, for the Euros.
Cheryl, one of our 2014s parents has kindly organised the walk and just giving page for the team.
